Installation
Can this fan be installed on a sloped or vaulted ceiling?
Yes. This downrod-mount ceiling fan can be installed on a sloped or vaulted ceiling. If the ceiling slope is less than 10°, a sloped-ceiling adapter is usually not required. If the slope is greater than 10° and less than 45°, we recommend purchasing the PM Universal Tilt-top Mounting Bracket - Up to 45° for proper installation.
What downrod length is included with this fan?
This fan includes a 6-inch downrod. With the included 6-inch downrod, the overall height of the fan is approximately 13.11 inches.
What downrod length should I choose for my ceiling height?
For the best clearance, we recommend keeping about 70 cm between the fan bottom and the top of a 180 cm tall person. Based on this guideline, the included 6-inch downrod is suitable for standard ceilings around 8 to 9 feet. For higher ceilings, optional downrods can be selected: 18 inches for around 10 feet, 24 inches for around 10.5 to 11 feet, 36 inches for around 12 feet, and 48 inches for around 13 feet or higher. Please check the final installation height before purchase.
Can this fan be flush mounted?
No. This model is designed for downrod installation and is not a flush-mount fan. If you need a low-profile version, please consider a Louise flush-mount model.
Is this fan suitable for low ceilings?
This fan is best for standard or higher ceilings. With the included 6-inch downrod, the fan height is about 13.11 inches. For very low ceilings, we recommend choosing a flush-mount ceiling fan instead.
