The Kwang 28 in. ceiling fan is manufactured with the latest technology. With 3 exceptionally wooden/white/beige finish blades, add a touch of elegant modernity. Three ABS blades finished in walnut/white/beige are paired with a matte black/white/beige finish motor, creating a cohesive look and feel. It includes a handheld fully functional remote system offering 5 speeds, reverse direction, and a timer. The light source is an integrated 11-Watt LED that is energy-efficient and long-lasting. It is small but powerful, superior in both looking and functions.
I used this fan to replace my standard ceiling light fixture in my kitchen. It wired up easily and fits nicely in the confined space near my cabinets over my kitchen sink area. The ceiling mount is a heavy rubber-isolated bracket that eliminates vibration. All of the exposed parts including the blades are plastic, so this fan is equally suitable for outdoor patio duty. The fan blades have a heavy curve to them which moves a lot of air for their small size. The antiqued look of the finish almost looks like rust up close, but it is nicely suited to the fan from a distance.
The fan came with a remote to control both fan and light. The fan has 5 speeds from a zephyr to a gale. The remote allows you to set a time for it to run from 1 to 8 hours. Perfect for a fan to fall asleep by and then turn itself off. Or leave it on for the full 8 hours. I must also say this is the absolute QUIETEST fan I've ever owned. It's quieter than little desk heater! Absolutely no vibration, no sound other than the wind in my ears. Impressive! The installation was straightforward.
This ceiling fan has a multi- functional remote & has a design to the move air although it is small sized. I think a beginner diy 'er would have some challenges with the instructions & assembly. What the manual didnt explain an experienced person can figure out. The motor shaft assembly was already assembled like most ceiling fans however once completely assembled & hanging, I noticed blades didn't move freely and it appeared to have a slight bend in the shaft. De-assembly revealed a portion was not screwed on level and I corrected it, avoiding the return process. I'm so glad I did, because this fan is terrific! First, it's pretty and matches my decor. Its the same color of my taupe walls with flakes of gold that goes well with wall frames. Second, it's totally quiet even on high spin. Third, it moves the air as well as larger fans. Its remote control has 5 different speeds! It also has forward/reverse so no more climbing a ladder to flip that switch especially if you have 9ft ceilings like I do. It also has a energy efficient led light. The light is on the bright side- it's more like a flash light affect. All considering I'm impressed and pleased. There is a small beep when you press a control button on the remote to let you know it is processing the command. The area is my pet area, with kennels and rugs and toys. I have rustic decor and gold framed pictures of current and past pets. This fan gives more comfort to my pets when they are in kennels. I love the remote control and the beige and gold fan added style to the pet decor. Although assembly was challenging even for me a intermediate diy'er im so happy with this fan. I did detract only 1 star for instructional manual and the flash light bright light which is hard on the eyes. I would highly recommend this fan for its remote control, looks, air movement but also warn instructions are not for beginners and the light is bright.
What a cool looking fan. Slim housing, beautifully carved wood blades, accent downrod finish and capped off with an LED souffl. Bravo good sir, bravo.
