Pre-order Policy

20% Deposit · Balance Before Shipment · Approx. 20% Savings

At Perimost, we use pre-orders to introduce new and small-batch collections in a more deliberate way. Pre-ordering allows us to plan production responsibly while offering early supporters priority access and preferred pricing.

This policy applies to all pre-order items purchased on perimost.com and is intended to be read alongside our Shipping & Delivery and Returns policies.


1. What is a pre-order item?

A pre-order item is a product that is not yet available as in-stock inventory at the time you place your order. It may be:

  • in production,
  • in transit, or
  • scheduled to arrive at our warehouse at a later date.

Pre-order items are clearly labeled as “Pre-order” on the product page and during checkout. We also provide an estimated shipping timeframe, for example:

Estimated to ship in approximately 6–8 weeks (about 2 months) from the order date.

Once your pre-order is confirmed, we reserve inventory for you within our production and shipping schedule.


2. Pricing & payment

20% deposit + balance before shipment · approx. 20% savings

To balance flexibility for you and planning on our side, pre-order items follow a “20% deposit + balance before shipment” model with a dedicated pre-order price:

  • Pre-order items are offered at a special pre-order price, which is typically around 80% of the anticipated future full retail price.
  • In other words, the total amount you pay (deposit + balance) is expected to be approximately 20% less than the future standard price on our website.

At the time of placing your pre-order, you pay 20% of the pre-order price as a deposit.

When your item is ready to ship, we will contact you by email or SMS to request payment of the remaining 80% balance.

Once the balance has been paid, your order will move into a “ready to ship” status and will be scheduled for dispatch within a reasonable timeframe.

If you decide to cancel your pre-order before the item has shipped, your 20% deposit will be fully refunded to your original method of payment (see Section 5).

Applicable taxes and shipping fees (if any) will be calculated and displayed at checkout.


3. Estimated shipping timeframe

Approximately 6–8 weeks from order date

For pre-order items, our standard estimate is:

Approximately 6–8 weeks (about 2 months) from the date your order is confirmed.

This timeframe:

  • is based on our current production cycle, material availability, and international transit schedules;
  • is a good-faith estimate, not an absolute guaranteed ship date;
  • may shift slightly due to supply chain fluctuations, carrier delays, customs clearance, or other factors outside our direct control.

When your pre-order item arrives at our warehouse and is ready for fulfillment, we will notify you and prompt you to complete payment of the remaining balance.

If there is a material delay beyond the original 6–8 week estimate, we will proactively contact you. At that point, you may choose to:

  • keep your pre-order and accept the revised shipping timeframe, or
  • cancel your pre-order for a full refund of your 20% deposit.

4. Orders containing both pre-order and in-stock items

If your order contains a mix of pre-order items and in-stock items, we may handle fulfillment in one of the following ways:

  • By default, in-stock items may ship first, and pre-order items will ship separately once they are ready; or
  • In some cases, we may consolidate shipments for logistical or environmental reasons. Any such arrangement will be made clear at checkout or in your order confirmation.

If you have specific preferences regarding split or combined shipments, please contact our Customer Care team before placing your order. We will do our best to accommodate your request where feasible.


5. Changes & cancellations

Deposit refund before shipment

We understand that plans can change. For pre-orders, we offer the following flexibility:

Before shipment

  • You may contact us at any time before your pre-order ships to request a cancellation.
  • As long as the order has not entered the shipping process, your 20% deposit will be fully refunded, with no cancellation fee.
  • If you would like to change the color, size, finish, or other specifications, we will do our best to assist, subject to availability. In some cases, this may require canceling your original order and placing a new pre-order.

After shipment

  • Once a pre-order item has shipped, the order will be treated as a standard order.
  • Any returns will be subject to our current Returns Policy, including conditions relating to packaging, installation, and product condition.
  • Shipping and return costs after dispatch will follow the terms outlined in our Shipping & Delivery and Returns policies.

If we notify you that your item is ready to ship and request payment of the remaining 80% balance, and you do not respond or complete payment within a reasonable period (for example, 7 calendar days), we may:

  • cancel your pre-order and refund your 20% deposit, or
  • reach out to you to confirm whether you would like to extend your reservation.

6. Returns & after-sales support

Once delivered, pre-order items are covered by the same returns and after-sales terms as our in-stock items. In general:

  • Items must be unused, uninstalled, and returned in their original, undamaged packaging (including all accessories and documentation) in order to qualify for a return;
  • If you discover a defect or damage related to manufacturing or transit, please contact us within the timeframe and via the channels described in our Returns Policy;
  • We will work with you to arrange repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with that policy.

7. Order updates & communication

Throughout the pre-order lifecycle, we may send you periodic updates, including but not limited to:

  • production or scheduling updates,
  • notification when your item arrives at our warehouse,
  • balance payment reminders before shipment,
  • final shipping confirmation and tracking details.

Please ensure that the email address and contact information you provide at checkout are accurate and remain accessible, so that we can keep you informed at each stage.


8. Our commitment

Pre-orders are built on trust. You choose to reserve a piece that is still on its way; in return, we commit to:

  • transparent information about timelines,
  • careful handling and consistent quality, and
  • a clear, fair refund and cancellation framework.

The pre-order savings (with your total payment—deposit plus balance—expected to be approximately 20% lower than the future standard retail price) are our way of thanking you for supporting these early production runs.
